So far, this year has been TOUGH!
Welcome to the February newsletter. We know this year hasn’t been living up to its potential, but we continue to try to provide a place of humor and rest for people fighting to push the world in a better direction. For so many reasons, producers of live events continue to struggle to get attendance this year. Bring a friend to a show!

A Quick Community Note…

You may have already noticed, but our community is in dire need of assistance right now.
People are showing up in so many different ways! But the need continues. We hope you’ll keep helping in any way you can, be it marching with the protestors, crafting, checking on friends and neighbors, delivering food to those in need, or supporting the small businesses in your communities.
If you have a couple extra dollars, here is a great resource for ways to make them go farther.
https://www.standwithminnesota.com
You’ll find ways to help with food donations and delivery, legal defense, rent assistance, and more!
Not only is the world watching how we handle this, but (as our good friend Jena notes) history is watching as well.

Stuff you might want to know
FVI on Patreon
A great way to support our troupe, other than coming to see our shows, it to become a Patreon supporter.
Your monthly $5 contribution helps us keep our gear in shape, pay advertising and website maintenance costs, and pay our performers for their time and talents.
To say thanks to our supporters, they receive a $5 discount to all FVI ticketed shows! If you come to both shows in a month you’ll get $10 in benefits!
Broken Clock members also get $5 off of our shows there! And you can stack those discounts! That’s right! For those that are both Broken Clock members and Patreon supporters, your admission to Broken Clock shows is… ZERO DOLLARS! We’re just giving it away here!
FVI on YouTube
Most of our shows (barring technical difficulties) get posted to our YouTube channel. However, the Uncensored part of UnProv isn’t always appreciated by YouTube. They like to demonetize channels that swear, but we’re not scared! We don’t have enough subscribers to be monetized in the first place!
Subscribe to our channel and help us get demonetized!
Other Things Going On
Jester’s Comedy Improv
Jesters is pulling double duty this Valentine’s Day, with two great shows on February 14.
At Torg Brewery they’ll be hosting a Not-Necessarily Newlywed game, where audience participants can play with local “celebrities” to win fabulous prizes.
They’re also continuing a Jester’s Valentine’s Day tradition. They’ve been invited back to perform at the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls, WI. Your ticket includes dinner! Learn more and get tickets HERE!
More upcoming shows:
February 27 at Torg Brewery
March 12 – New Hope Cinema Grill
March 28 at 9 Mile Brewing
Check out their socials for more information!
ComedySportz Twin Cities

This year they’re expanding their schedule! Every 2nd & 4th Friday and Saturday of the month at Strike Theater. Shows start at 7:30. Get tickets and learn more on their website!
For their Friday shows February and March they’re doing a live improvised Romantic Comedy. These shows are recommended for adult audiences.
If E-for-everybody shows are more your speed, you can still catch their ComedySportz matches on Saturdays
Good Camel Comedy Theater
From gut-busting stand-up to fearless improv and boundary-pushing storytelling, Good Camel Comedy Theater curates events that speak truth to power—through laughter. We spotlight BIPOC artists, queer voices, and bold perspectives that don’t always get a mic in traditional spaces.
They have shows that range from monthly jams and comedy festivals to one-night-only performances, workshops, and experimental pop-ups that blend humor with community-building and social commentary.
Learn more and find out what they have going on at their website.

Padraigs Brewing
Live music and food trucks every Friday and Saturday night, and great beer every night of the week. Now serving food too!

The Parting Glass…
One of the parts of UnProv is Uncensored. We’re not afraid to drop the occasional F bomb on stage.
When we saw this video celebrating everybody’s favorite word to hate, it hit our funny bones.
Maybe you’ll enjoy it too.
Viewer discretion. There’s a lot of the word F*CK in this video called “The F*ck Song”
